Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)
There are different components for different PNP’s and not all components are available for each PNP.
Skilled Worker Component
Most PNP’s have skilled worker component that is employer driven, meaning applicants must have job offer from an employer in the province. Also they have to meet language requirement.
Business Programs
Personal net worth, relevant business or management experience and education, with intent to start business and employ Canadians or permanent residents in the province required for this component.

This is for recent international graduates of publically funded post-secondary institutions of Canada. Graduates will typically have a job offer from employer in that province and depending on province will have studied for no less than 1-2 years.
Family Connection Streams for Skilled workers
Applicants with family or close connections to a province may be eligible for some PNP’s.
